In the local context, we were relatively early BJD hobbyists. Our deep interest became involvement with the arrival of our first two dolls in late 2003. As evinced by the events attended, we invested much personal effort in promoting and spreading the BJD culture for several years, especially within the circles interested in Japanese pop-culture. BJD awareness turned from introduction to community surprisingly quick: we had ceased handing out informative flyers after 2004. In 2006, the premier event for local J-culture enthusiasts established a specific booth section for BJDs, and we were glad to have aided the expansion of the local BJD scene. It moves quickly now, and we are happy to show support when we can by paticipating in the first BJD-specific event, The Doll Affair.

It has been several years: due to our current circumstances our free time has waned considerably, but our affection for BJDs have not. BJDs pushed us to develop our writing, photography, sewing, painting and crafting, and gave us friendships and community. Most of all, our BJDs have been a constant source of happiness and outlet of creativity.

media appearances
We have been very honoured over the years with media requests, and you can see the media that we have been involved in below:

We look to maintain a reasonable portrayal of the BJD community and are experienced in both technical and personal aspects of the hobby. If you would like us to be a part of your project, please feel free to contact us via email.

use of our content
The main content of Tangled Web [photostories and other writings] is not for use in any way, unless for archival of collaborative efforts [like how we have done with Mistula and No-Gentlemen]. Information about BJDs can be shared, best with credit. Though Jun seriously doubts anyone will even contemplate it, please do not use and/or duplicate our site coding.

The most important of our content - writing and images - is subject to permission and credit. Please email us if you would like to use our images; let us know how and where you will be using them, and please accord credit. In the case our images are used without permission, action will be taken to have them removed. This is relevant in regards to derivative art as well. So please don't do that. We're very nice people and more often than not, are terribly flattered when you ask.

commissioning
Maxx's schooling makes it generally impossible to take on clothing commissions; if it's not college, then it's preparation for that year's TDA. Jun's respiratory system is getting increasingly sensitive as the years go by, so frequency of face-up commissions have reduced. Thank you for your kind understanding and your deeply flattering consideration!

commercially/corporate-wise
Studies are our foremost concern and as such, commercial collaboration or procurement of our products/abilities is not currently possible and will not be in the near future. Thank you for your interest!

We know that this message will not be relevant for many people, but it's happened before, so we're putting this here just in case.

That's all! Surely that's more than you wanted to know.
