Stranger in a Strange Land: Chapter 3 - Stranger in a Strange Land

Tsukisou : Shikai-sama. A locally coloured dinner was insisted upon in your honour -
this is char siew, I hope you will find it to your tastes.

Shikai : I'm not picky.

Tsukisou : If you could pardon my impertinence, there is a matter that I must clarify with you.

Shikai : Ask away.

Tsukisou : The reason for your protracted travails is that the enemy, a person of considerable
threat, currently resides in your own abode. Would that be accurate?

Shikai : Loosely speaking...you might say that.

Tsukisou : So you left your loved ones in direct proximity of said danger...

Tsukisou : ...and traversed several households, some with children in residence, knowing you
might possibly visit upon them the same danger?

Shikai : When you put it like that, it's hard to refute.

Tsukisou : ...Ah.

Shikai : Indeed.

Shikai : I'd say it's a stalemate, wouldn't you?
Tsukisou : Eminently.

Tsukisou : Well, that's settled then. Thank you for your clarification. It was most helpful.

Shikai : ...Listen...about the children...
Tsukisou : Oh, do not concern yourself, Shikai-sama. The children in our household are more
than capable of taking care of themselves. And as it appears, so are you. There is nothing to
be worried about.

Tsukisou : Char siew?

Shikai : ...It's good.

As it would be...children are arrows, and more than Meets the Eye...
