Finally, the day has come for me to go to Domuya for a personal interview with Tsukisou.
It is strange having to walk to Domuya when one usually just sits in front of a computer and push a few buttons to get there.
Um, they don't look like they're from Domuya.
Neither do these guys. Interesting face-ups, I must say.
Domuya is in a postcard-pretty place called Clarke Quay.
M, who is part of Tsukisou's entourage, said the shop is "in a building/mall called 'Riverside Point' along the very dinky Singapore River. "
We did not find the river dinky at all. For us Filipinos, a river is dinky when one can walk on it without risk of being nailed to a cross labeled INRI afterwards.
M also said: "Once you get near the Singapore River and the bridge there, you can probably locate Domuya easily because they have window-pane to window-pane posters of Jacky's Rin, and another of Azrael. They're on the second storey, above a Cafe Iguana."
Thank God for M or Joey would've taken us to Godknowswhere with her keen sense of direction.
Just when I'm about to go berserk at being stuck inside Rey's gym bag with Manx kicking my face the entire trip, we're here.
For people not in the same timezone as Singapore, Domu-net is open 24-7, and even on holidays.
Even Domuya's patrons look like dolls.
Is that you, Candy? One Volks sponge and a pack of MSD elastic, please.
