Seishurou : Right. What am I supposed to say?
M : Marry me!
Seishurou and Tsukisou : ...
Seishurou : I thought this was supposed to be a fighting game.
Jun : It is. ^^;;
M : Just say it, okay?!
Seishurou : No. This is stupid.
M : *desperately* If you play along, I'll get you that pair of handcuffs you saw on Yahoo!Japan Auctions. *crosses fingers behind back*
Seishurou : ... *as Zato* Marry me.
M : Now, Testament, say Noooo...
Tsukisou : Testament...is me. Yes. *as Testament* No.
M : No, no, no! Not like that! You have to whine, like this : nooooo...
Tsukisou : *aghast* NO!
M : ...Well, I was going for coy, but I suppose sheer horror is cute enough. ^___^
Seishurou : *as Zato* You know you want me. *smirk*
Tsukisou : *as Testament* As a matter of fact, no.
Seishurou : *getting angry* You dare to refuse -
Tsukisou : *getting flustered* Yes - no! No, sir, I was just -
M : Playing hard to get! That's called being in character! ^__^ Stop overreacting. XP
Jun : ...Coyly playing hard to get with Zato is being in Testament's character? -_-;;
M : ^__^ Shut up. Go on, boys. Testament, you can accept him now. XD
Seishurou : *grimly, and possibly as Zato. ^^;;* If you don't come with me, boy, you're going to have hell to pay tonight.
Tsukisou : *flinch* Yes, sir.
Seishurou : Good.
M : -_-;;; The two of you have totally no idea of the concept of acting. Last shot!
M : ^____^!!! You look soooooo cute together~
Seishurou : *flatly* We look stupid.
M : Soooooooo cuuuuute~
Jun : What was the point of that stupid story? Shouldn't they have been fighting or something?
M : ^^;;;; Well, actually Testament was supposed to have been blocking a punch Zato threw. But it looked more like forced marriage. I really suck at fighting poses, huh?
Seishurou + Tsukisou + Jun : ...Yes.
Much much later, finally back at home...
Seishurou : This cosplay thing sure is tiring.
Tsukisou : Yeah.
Fans-tasia 2003 ...as according to Seishurou and Tsukisou...
Tsukisou : There were many strange people poking at me. It was frightening. I do not wish to go through this ever again.
Seishurou : *flatly* I couldn't see a thing. A con? Is that where we were? -_________-
...as according to Jun...
A bit of Tsukisou's bottom lip paint got mysteriously scratched off near the beginning of the con. I was so upset, I spent the rest of the day trying not to stab my eyes out and eventually ended up drawing Hayate. My poor boy. T____T
Tsukisou : It wasn't that bad. I don't mind. Much. I think.
It was pretty damn bad. -_- The first thing I did when I got home was try to camouflage the patch with pastels. I think it kinda worked. You can still see a slight contusion, but you'll probably only notice if you were looking for it, and it just looks like the paint rubbed off a little, instead of a cruel white gash of resin. Oh well.
...Other than that, I think quite a number of people were impressed with the costumes, especially Testament's. ^^ Considering that we forwent sleep for two days to rush them out, that's not bad. I only wish that we'd managed to throw in the scythe and Eddie, and that we'd been able to get Red Eyes for Tsukisou [out of stock at Volks]. I think quite some folks fawned over Tsukisou without noticing the scratch. But lots of people either thought he was female, or gay.
Most amusing moment
Guy 1 [from a distance, to his friend] : The Testament is Gay.
Guy 2 [ten minutes later, first-time visitor, to his friend] : Where's the Gay Testament? ...Oh, there.
Also, someone asked if the boys were for sale. Right. I was so sad, I don't actually remember the con in terms that can be considered diplomatic in any language. Oh, except that the Domuya dolls were lovely. ^_^ And Cecile looked great in full pirate gear, and Rin looked great in Cecile's wig. XD I'd better stop, because everytime I think about the con, I get reminded of the fact that Tsuki-chan isn't perfect anymore.
Tsukisou : ...Just so you know, you're really making me feel better about this. -_-;;;
I still think you're beautiful, boy. T_T I hope the patch-up helped. I hope he still looks okay to the rest of you. ^^;;;
Tsukisou : -_-;;
...as according to M...
Very frankly, damn it all that I'm a cosplayer. XD;;; Seriously, we worked nonsto without sleep and all to finish their costumes. I actually got food poisoning the night before and was throwing up on occasion and suffering from nausea, but I couldn't stop. No. Boys must look perfect. Boys must have good costumes. Cannot forget about collar. Cannot forget about gloves. Cannot - ::enviroment blurs::
I really wanted to cosplay with them [even though not from the same series] but ended up throwing up next day in the morning. XD;;; So they had to make a good impression and attract attention as good cosplayers. And they did, I think. XD When we set the table up and stuff people were already walking by and taking photos! <3 And people were commenting on how nice the costumes were, and I was very very happy.
I think Tsukisou was great as Testament; he looked really good in wet-look vinyl. XD And underfortunately, Seishurou did look like Zato, which means actually nothing much. X3 I'm quite regretful [as a cosplayer, especially, and as Jun and I are very picky about accuracy] that we didn't have the time to make Testament's scythe or Eddie and that the red eyes were out of stock. [Two sets of outfits for each of them in one week. Good lord.] Other than those [which is my fault, really] they really were great and did their avid cosplayer 'owner' very proud. <3~~~
The Domuya dolls were so adorable, I was so glad that so many people were ooohing over SuperDollfies. >D Soon we will have more in the SD community. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
