STAC 2006
...as according to M, years and years later...

I admit: the costumes here are some of the most complete I've done. All of them are completed! For shame. Even the fur-
dye/stitch become beautiful wig worked out for the minis. It still was a nightmare experience because I managed to leave
most of the wigs out when we travelled across the island to here....And let's just say Jun was not quite happy with me
when she got back. I don't actually recall that much rushing, but I do believe we were [as usual] late [did you see the Yahoo
article on how creative people are always late? ::sheepish:: I had to give that a shot...] and we also hacked away at a
styrofoam block for Ruka's resting position for a while. There was a kind gentleman who offered a pocket knife, but our
massive penknife was twice its size, so we politely declined. In the end, we managed to set it all up decently, mostly as
planned.

We did a lot of work this time around. I did lots of sewing and crafting, Jun did lots of sewing and crafting also - as you can
see from the lovely pieces of 'Chanson' jewelry laid out with Tsuki and Sana. We sold postcards too. But at the end of the
day we were empty, unhappy and largely dissatisfied. Perhaps this was a start of an existentialist crisis that we obviously did
not learn from, as the other events after this will show...

We did, however, have very nice booth placement.
