Straits Times - April 3 2005

BJDs have been slowly gaining some small amount of recognition in Singapore, and the papers,
always looking for interesting things to bolster their youth page with, haven't neglected the
scoop. Lucky for us, we were approached by the National newspaper's YGen journalist for a
feature interview - and here we are. In The Straits Times first ever full article on the BJD
scene, Tangled features big. Now - time for world domination!!! [XD;; Okay, so it's really just a
general article, and our four-hour interview was pruned to four quotes and a selection of
facts...and I sound kinda dumb in parts with the quotes out of context.. but hey. It's a start. XD]

for keeping us company during the session!

We really have to thank the journalist, Mei Yan, for this article. She was accomodating and
attentive throughout the incredibly long interview session, and fought hard for us to make sure
the article had a positive slant [not a trait that our news is usually know for...]. Thank you very
much, Mei Yan, for all your work and for giving us this great opportunity!
